“For a moment,” he says, “I wondered if it wasn’t you shooting bolts at me.” I make a face at him. “And what made you decide it wasn’t?”

There is enough backstabbing, intrigue and plot twists in this story to satiate a pack of middle aged women obsessed with Mexican telenovelas.
It's been a couple of weeks since I read this and I'm still trying to effing process it, okay?
Damn you Holly Black, just give us the last one already.
This book raises the stakes, and it packed a much bigger punch than the first one.
The plot does, in fact, thicken. At this point I am extremely invested in the story, and I see so much of myself in Jude that it's a little too painful in parts.
